Alpha Omega & The Leisure Principle (AOXLP) Release New Caravaggio Inspired Music Video “Sorry" feat. Prevail from Swollen Members

Fresh from opening for Busta Rhymes in Whistler to thousands, Vancouver-based postmodern-pop group The Leisure Principle have teamed up with Prevail (Swollen Members) and Neph from hip-hop group Alpha Omega for the new music video "Sorry" online at https://youtu.be/P2hETepls5sand to form a brand new collaboration called AOXLP. The video was directed and edited by Leisure Principle guitarist DT and the Caravaggio-inspired music video sheds light on the century old topic of love. The track is the first single from Alpha Omega and The Leisure Principle's new collaborative EP "AOXLP", which is expected to surface later this year on Kitsilano Records.

"The lyrics came to me while I was reminiscing about love and how sometimes you cross stars with someone who electrifies your every cell, and you're totally smitten and then you get to spend some time with them and nothing is how it seems," commented Liesa Norman from The Leisure Principle. "You watch a beautiful person get taken over by other life-ly intoxications. This really resonated with Prevail and Neph from Alpha Omega too, so the collaboration really was an extension of a discussion we had about love, and sometimes an environment can’t support the most perfect of feelings. Sometimes it's situational, geographical and then sometimes it’s just timing."

AOXLP is a rock/alternative/hip hop fusion act from Vancouver, BC who’s members have a rich and vast history in the music industry. Members include Prevail, of Swollen Members, David Spidel of Bif Naked (Bass) and DT of High Holy Days (Guitar) and rounding up the lineup is Baxwar MC Neph, Dr Liesa Norman (Flute, Vocals) and Cam Stephens (Drums).

Joining forces after playing a festival together opening for Busta Rhymes in Whistler in April 2017, this eclectic and varied group of musicians have come together to create one of musics most exciting act in years. Blending hip hop, rock, alternative and electronica, AOXLP are working on their debut album while putting together a European tour for 2017 and beyond.
