Los Angeles, CA--July 1, 2013-- Independent music and fashion is sure to hit a new all time high in the Inland Empire this year as the D.I.Y. Music and Fashion Festival is welcomed back for its third year. The festival, which has become a highly anticipated event, will bring new and old talent together in one place and is set to take place on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at The Glasshouse in Pomona, CA.

The D.I.Y. Music and Fashion Festival got its start by independent Hip Hop artist Noa James and Bricktoyaface.com founder Lesa J., who came up with the idea to bring together independent artists and fashion for a full night of great performances and amazing fashion from young, ambitious and of course talented artists and designers. After receiving an overwhelming turnout from its first year, Noa and Lesa then decided it was time to take this event to a much larger platform, which led to its home at popular music venue, The Glasshouse in downtown Pomona, CA. The event has called The Glasshouse home ever since.

Not your average music and fashion event, attendees can expect a variety of performances from some of the best in independent Hip Hop from all over Southern California such as Speak, Noa James, What Hands Are For, Stevie Crooks, Curtiss King, Pheo, Awukii, Ill Camille, First Dirt, Waju, Slay Squad, D’zyl, Cam Gnarly and DCxDCxDC, Hawdwerk, Yung Miss, Da Flatlynerz, and Gypsy Mamba. For all of your fashion needs, vendors expected to be in attendance will include BrickToYaFace, United Schemers, Damn Turbo, Skulturr and The Actual Size Dreamers Company.

An event of this size is not complete without its hosts, which will include Ramone Jones, Kieroglyphics, 3D Beats and of course the B-Sideshow to keep event goers on their feet. DJ Calligraphy, DJ Kid Disko and DJ Meanwhile will be on the turntables all evening keeping the music going.
