The week of March 11th, 2013 is going to be quite a week for BennFranK. The Long Island, NY hip-hop artist celebrates his birthday on Monday, March 11th, and then releases his latest single to radio, a hip-hop version of the international hit and Italian classic VOLARE, on Tuesday, March 12th. Do you know what? BennFranK is actually related to Domenico Modugno, the original writer and artist who recorded VOLARE in 1958. Turns out that BennFranK is Modungo's cousin - so how weird is that? Now everybody sing along, "Volare, oh oh, Cantare oh oh oh oh...".

His last album "BFK" was spinning at over 300 radio stations in the USA and Canada. It ranked #1 on both the weighted and unweighted College Radio Charts National Hip-Hop Airplay charts, hit #14 on the CMJ National Top 40 Hip-Hop Airplay charts, appeared three times on the CMJ National Hip-Hop Adds charts, #119 on the Un-Weighted College Radio Charts National Top 30 Airplay charts as well as #145 on the weighted College Radio Charts National Top 30 Airplay charts.
