A native of Erie, Pennsylvania, 26 year-old Ne' Richa is a self taught songwriter & producer, who presents a progressive approach to music by representing for women in a positive light while remaining true to her independent nature. On January 1st, 2013, Ne' Richa released her sophomore album, The Moxy. The 15-track LP is a shining expression of the emcee's core sound. Blending an old school, nostalgic Hip Hop aura with a relevant swagger, Ne' Richa takes a universal approach to music, while still aiming to push the boundaries.

"The Fire" carries a classic throwback sound, full of a Dr. Dre-esque, West Coast bounce, and the undeniable influence of East Coast breeding. Sampling her own track, 2006's "Gimme Room", Ne' Richa gives the listener much raw energy and lyricism. Both written & produced by Richa, it is the first official single to be released from The Moxy project.

"I feel this track is a bit more edgy than what people are used to from me", Ne' Richa says. "I wanted to take a new pathway of expression for this new album. Fans want to know that there is more than one side to you as a performer".
