For a young gun, Ayy Brooks already has a lot of accomplishments to go with his memorable name: songwriter, recording engineer, recording artist, live performer and not surprisingly, entrepreneur. Coming December 18th, the 19 year old offers his greatest feat yet, with the release of his new EP “Young Kids Living The Dream,” available Worldwide via iTunes. Offering a post-millennial hip-hop signature, you may have already seen Ayy performing at the Hangar Theatre’s October Hip Hop Festival in Ithaca, N.Y., or at Rochester’s Water Street Music Hall, with his arsenal of original songs, including “Be Real,” “Over Everything” and “Dreams Come True.” For the past five years, he’s been making a name for himself throughout his native Upstate New York, opening onstage for the likes of nationally known acts Chris Webby and Philthy Rich recording artist Crisys.
