Meet Hip Hop Film Director Tim Greene In Chicago!
November 20, 2012

Tim Greene's holiday tour hits Chicago.

Inspired by the reports of the crime and violence that plague cities across the country, two young actors decided to take a stand and reclaim city streets. Lordez (12 years old) and his brother Masiyah (9 years old) are working together to make a Super Hero film about “taking back their neighborhoods one block at a time.”

Influenced by the success of movies like “The Avengers” and the soon to be released “Super Man” and “Spiderman” movies, the child actors thought that it would be a great idea to produce their own Super Hero short films. The short films are entitled The Re-Programers and The Supa Kidz.

“The Supa Kidz”, is about a group of kids who got fed up with thugs in their neighborhood using them to carry out their dirty work. So all of the kids come together to rid their hood of the bad elements.

They are sponsoring a free holiday film screening. The screening will take place:

Saturday, November 24th, 2012

2 p.m. until 4 p.m.

The Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center

1250 W. 119th Street Chicago, IL 60643

for more info call: (312) 731-8408

After the screenings, award winning filmmaker Tim Green of Tim Greene Films.com will present the “Breaking Into Entertainment Workshop”.” Tim Greene is the creator of the “LiL Homies” kids’ film series. There will be over 50 prizes given away during the screenings; including a home theatre projection system, mp3 players and 30 new cell phones.
