Peoria,IL- November 9, 2012- After several months of hard work in the studio, 16-year-old singer Leshai has decided to give her fans a double dose of her music by releasing a new single “Rest of My Life” on Friday, November 9, and her EP “Get Like Me” on November 16.

Leshai’s new single “Rest of My Life” is the follow-up song from “Bad Boy”, the hip-hop single that skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot on popular music sites like ReverbNation and Unsigned Band Web.

“Rest of My Life is probably the song that I am most proud of,” Leshai said. “I love its R&B sound, but at the same time it has a pop appeal.” Rest of My Life begins with a mellow piano melody backed by soft drums, and ending with an array of string arrangements.

In addition to releasing a new single this Friday, Leshai will also be releasing a five song EP Friday, Nov. 16. The EP, “Get Like Me,” will contain both the songs Bad Boy and Rest of My Life. The main genres that fans will hear on the EP will be Hip-Hop, Dance, R&B, and a bit of Rock.

‘I wanted to give my fans a little bit of everything,” Leshai said of the musical styles on her EP. “I wanted them to hear a variety of genres and get a feel of how my sound has developed in the past few months.”

The EP contains the tracks Bad Boy, Rest of My Life, Tonight, Humanity, and the title track, Get Like Me.
