Rise Media Group Celebrates One Year Anniversary with the Successful Return of R&B Super Woman Karyn White

LOS ANGELES, CA (October 22, 2012) – Rise Media Group (RMG), a Los Angeles based entertainment lifestyle company formed by partners Liane Mori, Bruce Sterling and Michael Anderson, celebrates their one year anniversary with the return of R&B diva Karyn White. Today marks the release of Karyn White’s first album in seventeen years Carpe Diem, as well as the premiere of TV One’s Life After series featuring the R&B superstar.

Over the past year Rise Media Group has played several instrumental roles in the launch of Karyn’s new record including: creative direction, project management, PR/marketing and live performance production for Karyn’s label Karyn White Enterprises (KWE). Karyn’s new single entitled “Seize The Day” currently sits in the Top 30 of the Mediabase & All Access charts and is gaining ground on Urban AC radio stations across the United States.

“Our team is grateful for the opportunity to play a part in Karyn’s return to music. From her pre-production recordings in our studios, to the recent announcement of her distribution deal with Lightyear/EMI, RMG has been involved every step of the way. And it has been amazing to watch her die hard and new fans across the country get excited about this new album,” explains Bruce Sterling, Director of New Business.

Throughout the last year RMG produced a successful charity event for the Semper Fi Fund (in association with Tunnel Vision, LLC), added insight to several music related panels for the Los Angeles Indie Music/Film International Summit, California Copyright Coalition and recently the Musicians Institute. Rise Media staff was tapped to judge the preliminary rounds for the hit TV show The Voice.
