In a industry to where everything has been done, every note has been sang, and every catch phrase has been thrown out there, Shamiah has brought us something refreshing and that is a new artist whose got it! She has the understanding and the guidance of a true artist. With the help of family friend and mentor writer/producer Maurice Carmon "Mlyrics", Shamiah is going to surprise many who just think that she is a cute or pretty girl, with a good voice, and dances. She has the understanding of what a true artist is. She stated that "in the business it takes real and good music to stay relevant and that she hopes that all will enjoy her entire stay because she plans on making and performing good even great music for a long time" and with that being said, that may be enough said.
