The 18 track album, which is a mixture of Houston and Bay Area flavor, is majority produced by DemJointz and features Scarface, E-40, Paul Wall & Candice Pillay.
Ricardo released the first single “Super Coolin” in June 2012 and the follow up “Celebration” in July 2012. Both records enjoyed moderate success, but it wasn't until the release of “The Streets” feat Scarface that fans truly started to take notice as Ricardo went toe to toe with the Houston legend. Currently living in California’s Bay Area, Ricardo has fused the West Coast influence in his latest offering. “Perception” will be available on all mixtape outlets September 7th.
“I stand out in a crowd full of standouts,” proclaims Houston TX based artist, Ricardo. The music industry today has seen many artists from all areas come and go, with no staying power. Twenty seven year old Ricardo, has a unique and raw talent that exudes reality through street wisdom. His music is a collection of powerful lyrics and diverse sounds.
