Asante Amen gearing up for a busy 4th quarter

After working together on and off for approximately one year, Maria Jackson Entertainment and International Reggae artist, Asante Amen have formalized their relationship by entering into a conclusive agreement. As such, MJE will act as the official representative for the Asante Amen brand throughout the world, handling all things from bookings to features.


That being said, we would like to take this opportunity to advice you about two brand new releases by Asante Amen, both celebrates Jamaica on this our 50th anniversary. The first track is a collaborative effort with guitarist and composer Maurice Gordon, entitled “I am Jamaican”. Persons may listen and download the track here: http://soundcloud.com/asante-amen/i-am-jamaican-asante-amen. The second single is on the MJE label and it’s called “say yes”. The track is one of seven on the Anniversary Riddim which will be officially released later this week.


Additionally, Asante Amen is scheduled to make an appearance at the Marcus Garvey birthday celebration happening at The Eastern Peace Centre on August 17th. Persons can also catch him in the upcoming documentary for the aforementioned Anniversary Riddim.
