Lonnie Dangerous Hopes LA Hot Weather will Heat Up Song Sales for Northern Lights

Lonnie Dangerous, a rapper from Anchorage Alaska has just moved to Los Angeles and is releasing his new album “Just the Tip”. His feature song Northern Lights will be donated to the WiFiPR Group Complilation “Indie Anthems”. The Northern Lights video is getting a great response. It premiered last month in July on The Venue, Alaska’s local music video show, as the first local rap act. Lonnie has just relocated to Los Angeles to hopefully build a greater audience and following, after all Southern California is a huge market and is known for its great warm weather and the legendary hip hop artists who call it home.

“Just The Tip” Won Alaska's album of the year, and the producer Slimmkeys won Alaska's producer of the year, two years in a row. Lonnie is very proud for writing a song for BEADS OF COURAGE, an organization that supports children battling cancer. The rapper is also an actor/ comedian and considers his recent relocation to LA, a strategic move for his music and acting career.

Lonnie has already appeared at the Whiskey A Go Go, and often plays at private parties, and is scheduled to play at college frat parties over this summer. He also opened for Raz B, which is a national act.

Influenced by 2Pac, 50cent, Jay-z, he is often compared to Kanye West and Nate Dogg, but definitely has his own style of showmanship. His song writing is often influenced by his family relationships:in particular writing about his fiancé and the death of his grandparents.
