He was born in Colorado Springs & raised in Atlanta GA, on the southwest side in the Kimberly Courts projects! His family eventually moved out of Atlanta to Marietta in search of a better environment. His mother raised 5 kids by herself so there were constantly moving place to place like from habitat from humanity to various shelters. Now he resides in upstate New York,after his family moved there in search of a change,and by chance landed in Dutchess County at a domestic violence shelter! Poughkeepsie has been his home ever since.

Last July he performed twice in Manhattan, NY at Sullivans. He won a showcase in that he entered at the last minute on the same day! He beat out 15 other competitors and won "Western World Films Productions Ultimate Artist Blowout Top Artist 2011" winning a $10,000 HD video shoot with the same film company! He also got to record with Night Owl Studios in NYC! This was his first accomplishment as an artist. Since then he has dropped a mixtape called "Conjure and Kush Blunts" and had numerous shows including a sold out performance at The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie,Ny where he headlined. He owns his own label called Tri-State Empire. As you can see Buddha Da Great is determined, focused and has the drive to succeed. Rest assured you will be hearing a lot more about this artist in days to come as he works hard to claim is place among the industry heavy hitters!
