Block Starz Music recording artist Lega-C, who burst onto the independent music scene last summer with her platinum YouTube video "White Girl Raps Fast", has unveiled the official artwork to her much-anticipated major indie solo debut, OFF MY MEDICATION, which is slated for release on October 31.
OFF MY MEDICATION features appearances by various Block Starz Music artists and affiliates as well as a blazing collaboration with Wrekonize, lead vocalist of Strange Music's urban/alt-rock band ¡MAYDAY!
Lega-C's collaboration with Wreckonize, titled "Speaking Sublimely", came about after the two artists, who were both openers for Tech N9ne and Machine Gun Kelly on the historic "Hostile Takeover Tour 2012", were introduced in March.
"It was just a mutual respect thing," says Lega-C (born Danielle McLean) of the collaboration. "I was just blown away by ¡MAYDAY!'s music and performance. I became an instant fan of the band and Wrek showed a lot of love for what I was doing, so my people got with his people and we made it happen."
Lega-C's hit singles "White Girl Raps Fast", "F**k Em All", and "Who Got Tha Heater" are available from Block Starz Music on iTunes and all major online retailers. Lega-C's debut album OFF MY MEDICATION is scheduled for release October 31.
