X-Flo is ready to EleVate you! July 20, 2012 Url: http://www.mondotunes.com What happens when a Puerto Rican rapper meets a beautiful song bird in a club in upstate New York? You get the strongest musical duo since Beyonce and Jay-Z! The couple has peen pushing the Latin Urban style for ten years now and with their new album EleVation they are on their way to convince the world and their followers.
A decade ago, Christopheer Corea aka Kila set eyes on the beautiful Ruby and it was their memorable first date which inspired the song "Noche de Pasion" (A night of Passion). Kila had been writing for several years before meeting Ruby who was initially shy, but with his gentle motivation he brought her out of her shell and discovered one of the best voices he had ever heard. There are few couples who'd be happy to share their life, their passion and their work together but Kila and Ruby have found harmony together, their musical styles just flow and their children have enriched their life.
Ruby and Kila aka "X-Flo" have a big following in and around Albany and New York City. They played several small venues and were surprised to find the crowd seemed to know their hooks the next time they performed. Fans love their unique sound and have compared them to a group called Monchie y Alexandra. X-Flo find inspiration in groups such as Wilson y Yandel, Daddy Yankee and Prince Royce.
Their song "Spaceship" on their new album EleVation, was a collaboration between X-Flo and various indie artists, some of the best in underground Latin Urban with a lot of rhythm and skills. X-Flo are covering all their bases within the music scene, staying up to date with current trends.
When asked what message they are trying to push, the answer is simple: "Inspiration, passion, creativity and Latin Urban style."
Keep your eyes out for X-Flo's new album, EleVation!
