Block Starz Music recording artists Boom Blake and Block Movement have received nominations at the 2012 Underground Music Awards presented by Urban Threshold. Trenton, New Jersey rapper Boom Blake, who dropped his Block Starz Music solo debut, The Manual Procedures, in May, is nominated in the “Buzz Factor” category, while Omaha, Nebraska rap trio Block Movement of Thizz Latin, who are prepping their debut album N.A.F.T.A., received a nod for “Best Rap Group of the Year”.
The winners of the Underground Music Awards are determined via online voting by the general public. On July 12, 2012, the public will be able to vote for the winners of each category via online voting at UndergroundMusicAwards.com. The voting process ends on August 12, 2012. The nominee who receives the most online votes will win for the category he/she is competing in.
Block Starz Music artists and affiliates received 13 nominations in various categories for the 2010 UMAs held at world famous B.B. King's in New York City. Previous winners from the Block Starz Music family include Wiz Khalifa, Machine Gun Kelly, Money First, and JR Bricks.
