Up-And-Coming Gay Rapper Debuts Extremely Bizarre Music Video July 7, 2012
Url: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7DxHZdjFVkk Gay rapper Cocky da Homo MC has just released his debut music video "Real Men," directed by Andrew Greenblatt of ECU Productions. The video features bizarre and disturbing visuals of the rapper behaving somewhat psychotically, along with a rather fiery and controversial introduction attacking his online critics in the hip hop community: "In 50 years you'll be the rednecks and the Anglos, I'm the Negro here, stop discriminating, homos." Cocky is seen throughout the video randomly sporting a Barbra Streisand t-shirt and T'fillin, a prayer accessory used by observant Jews. The song itself is heavily influenced by dubstep, and could very well become this summer's gay club anthem if the video catches enough attention...
The Homo MC has a growing Twitter fanbase of over 150,000 followers, and his latest mixtape "Cockaveli" has reached 4,500 downloads on mixtape hosting website Datpiff.com, the most impressive stats for a gay rapper yet. Rumor has it he has been working very close with a senior A&R of Atlantic Records and may become the first gay rapper with a mainstream deal very soon.
