Alabama, USA-- Most nine-year-olds can barely tie their shoes, let alone tell you what they want to do with their lives when they grow up. But Dirk LP knew at a young age that he wanted to be an entertainer, and with a beat machine and a 4-track recorder he set out to accomplish his dream.

Now with his own record company (Dirk Down Records), hit collaborations with big-time DJs and a third full-length studio release ready to launch, Dirk LP is living his dream, and he's only getting started. Once known only as Dirk, the Alabama native and veteran of the Dirty South music scene added "LP" to his name as "living proof" that with faith and hard work you can do anything.

"With a Vengeance" takes Dirk LP to new heights with the single "GetSumWare," produced by BBMG, which keeps the beats hoppin' and the lyrics flowin.' It's followed up by "Call 2 Greatness," expertly produced by Grim Reefah, and "Loudest of Loud," a song that hit the number one spot of several radio charts this spring. The release will be available through CD Baby on July 17, 2012.

Dirk's undeniable talent, fresh lyrics, and pulse-pounding beats make him a must-hear for all hip-hop fans.

He cites influences such as Outkast, Nas, and Jay-Z, and was featured in such notable magazines as The Source and XXL.
