White House Band collaborated with Emmy-nominated Gangstagrass on their forthcoming Bluegrass/ Rap album, Rappalacia. The two collaborated on the song called “Down by The River, Down by The Sea”.

White House Band met Gangstagrass during CMJ 2011 and decided to work on a song. “Down by The River, Down by The Sea” is the first outside collaboration White House Band has ever done. The song will be one of the main singles on Gangstagrass album, which is due in June 5th, 2012. White House Band joins other prominent hip-hop artists including Kool Keith, Dead Prez, and Nitty Scott MC, as featured guests on the album.

“Collaborating with Gangstagrass was one of my most fun moments in the studio,” says David E Beats, lead and only official member of The White House Band. I really hope the song does well.“
